Folk Inspired dance workshop Over 55's

Join Folkestone based dance company MCDC for a free folk-inspired Over 55s dance workshop as part of our new project, Tractor Time! We’ll be reviving & blending British and Slavik folk dance styles from yesteryear, reimagining the traditions, ritual parades and community celebrations throughout the farming calendar. Choreographer Michaela Cisarikova will blend dance styles, incorporating scarves and ribbons to create our own parade to celebrate harvest. Join us again to share what we’ve created at the premiere of our new outdoor touring show Tractor Time! at Harbour Arm for the early May bank holiday. Thursday 5th March, 10.30am - 12.00pm.
